How Horse Hair Jewelry Is Made
Every piece I make is slowly, intentionally created - one order at a time with a whole lot of care.
- Preparation - your horse's hair is gently cleaned and sorted. Any hair that isn't used in the creation of your horse hair jewelry is returned to you.
- Design & Creation - your horse's hair is then braided, woven or set into
jewelry. I include all the colors of their hair in each and every piece to
capture a small piece of their essence. - Finishing - each piece's hardware is buffed and cleaned.
- Final Inspection - I carefully review each piece before packaging in our
beautiful jewelry boxes so they are protected on their journey home.
Nothing I create is ever rushed.

Top 3 Frequently Asked Questions
How much hair is needed?
Each item will have specific lengths of hair needed. The average is a bundle the width of your pinky finger and a minimum of 12 inches in length.
Mane or Tail hair?
Tail hair is preferred as it is stronger. Some designs can be created with mane hair as long as it meets the minimum hair length requirements.
Can you use more than one horse's hair for the bracelet?
Yes! Any design can be made with as many horse's as you like.
